Kingston, 8 months old, VA

Kingston greets the world with an easy, gummy grin and seems endlessly fascinated by faces, especially the people who take the time to talk and play with him. He's just starting to pull himself up to stand and loves being held near enough to grab at anything within reach. Kingston came into foster care a few months ago and is currently in his first placement, adjusting to a new routine, new voices, and a new home. He's generally calm and content, though he can be fussy during transitions, which his foster family is working through with patience and consistency. Kingston loves being read to, enjoys the sound of singing, and is starting to experiment with clapping and waving. He's at an age where every bit of stability and affection shapes how he sees the world, and he deserves caregivers and support that help him feel safe and cherished from the very start.
