J'La has been in foster care for most of her teen years. Despite what she's gone through, J'La has persevered and worked hard. Not only does she work two part-time jobs, but she is graduating high school soon and starting college shortly after to get her associate's degree in early childhood education. J'La loves working with young children and helping to shape their minds.
