NJ DCFS - Monmouth CountyIsabel has begun her life in the NICU and in two months has made huge developments and should be going home soon. She is thriving and growing and loves to be held. She is holding her head up and loves looking around at people walking by.
Isabel and her twin brother were born prematurely. They are both still in the hospital, but are hoping to be discharged very soon. Isabel is likely to be discharged first as she has progressed more quickly than her brother. The family is living in extreme poverty, and while they have the basic necessities and cribs, they will be struggling to provide anything extra for the babies or other kids this Christmas. Isabel is in need of a Carter's gift card so that her mother can pick out some warm clothes to bring her home from the hospital in.
