She is filled with joy knowing that she finally has a place she can call home, a place where there is a door and that when she closes her eyes to sleep she doesn't have to be afraid. A place of her own where she feels safe. She will be so excited to make her space feel like home!

Ahria is an amazing young lady who has been in foster care for two years. She has embraced her current situation and has vowed not to let it impact her future. Ahria wants to be a social worker after college so that she can help young ladies like herself. She’s determined not to let her current situation define who she is. Her foster mom describes her as energetic, determined, and full of life. She knows exactly what she wants and will not let anyone or anything gets in her way.
