Manuel's family is struggling this year and cannot afford clothes for the children. All of the children are wearing clothes with holes or very very worn. Manuel is desperately in need of some appropriate winter clothes as the school is calling home every day and Manuel is embarrassed to go to school because of his clothes. A gift card to Old Navy would allow him to pick out some nice new and warm clothes for the winter!
Manuel is 16 years old and lives in NJ
Manuel is smart, outgoing, loves school and loves to play chess! He will challenge anyone and everyone to a game of chess and usually wins. He loves animals and tells his caseworker at every visit that he wants a dog. The family cannot have a dog so he is going to look into volunteering at an animal shelter.
