VA DSS - Chesapeake City CountyZaria is a very bright individual who recently entered foster care and is struggling with a lot of anxiety. She is currently receiving support to help her manage her feelings. Zaria enjoys focusing on the things she loves, such as scented candles, nail art, reading, the color blue, fidget toys, journaling, and colorful lights. Although this is a confusing time for her as she adjusts to foster care, she is doing her best to stay positive.
Zaria was so excited when she was selected to join the YMCA girls basketball team. Zaria was very upset when she wasn't picked for her school's basketball team and had gave up on playing basketball. Zaria was encouraged to try out at the local YMCA and she was picked in the first round. Basketball is everything to Zaria and she practices daily. A new pair of shoes would really be a great gift!
