Christopher lives with his teenage mom who is in foster care. He really want to have a nicely decorated party to celebrate his 3rd birthday and show everyone how fast he’s growing up. And he’d like it if his mom could get him a little toy too. With all the scary parts of being part of the system, he’s looking forward to doing something just for fun.
