The Heart Matters Foster Family AgencyThis is Luis' first time in foster care. He was placed with his siblings 3 days before the holiday due to unsafe conditions at home. While his siblings were brought in together, they unfortunately were separated into different homes. Luis suffers from mental health issues due to the trauma he has endured and the separation from his siblings. He loves spending time with his siblings and has recently begun weekly visits with them all which has helped with his anxiety. Luis loves to play on his Nintendo Switch. His favorite game is Mario Kart. He also has discovered his love of math and will ask everyone math questions to quiz them.
Music is a therapeutic outlet for Luis. He has been struggling with separating from his siblings and not having access to his keyboard. When the keyboard was dropped off at the agency, it had been severely broken and unable to be played. By replacing his keyboard, Luis will be able to play again and better cope with his new environment and the anxiety he has been faced with.
