Derik is happy to finally have a place to call their own. They have been struggling with stability, and this is a fresh new start for them. Derik would love to deck out their room with amazing black lights, some UV-reactive tapestries, and decorative items to really feel comfortable and cozy. Derik is excited to have a space that represents them and feels like home.
Derik is 20 years old and lives in CO
Derik is a fun, energetic typical young boy. He has jumped around from foster care to kinship care and hasn't had a lot of consistency in his life, but he is always looking ahead and has a positive outlook on his future. He is working on graduating high school and is planning on attending a trade school. Derik enjoys working with his hands and hopes to find a well paying job once he completes his certifications. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and is always trying new activities to keep himself focused and on track.
