William LOVES to cook! He recently moved into transitional housing, and his apartment does not have a microwave. While he definitely prefers bbqing and stovetop cooking, a microwave would allow him to cook fast and simpler meals, especially those that he can eat on his way to school. Granting this wish would be such a gift to William as he continues to gain more independence.
William is 19 years old and lives in CA
William is an athletic young man. He loves all sports, but especially track and field. Being part of sports in school was difficult at first because he was extremely behind in school. When Will first came to our agency, he had a tendency of skipping classes. Since entering high school, he has worked diligently with school staff and his resource parents to catch up and keep his grades up to be eligible to play sports. This year, William was able to try out for track and field at his high school. Will won a medal in almost every category he participated in. William left his Sophomore year of high school with a 3.5 GPA and has a goal of completing his Junior year with a 4.0.
