Directions for LivingLillian was recently adopted a year ago after spending two years in the Children's home with her siblings. Lillian has endured a great deal of trauma for most of her life. Lillian is one of the strongest children we know. Lillian loves her two siblings and was their caregiver for most of her life. She enjoys journaling, hanging out with friends, and getting pampered. Lillian's parents, counselor, and case manager are very proud of her progress.
Lillian suffers from severe PTSD and anxiety. Recently her brother has started to act out which triggers her. Lillian is working very hard to improve her mental well-being but it can be difficult at times. Listening to music helps Lillian relax. She is wishing for a set of noise-canceling headphones so that when her brother is acting out she can use them and not be triggered.
