Youth and Family AlternativesJazmyne is a resilient and determined young woman who is currently in foster care and living in a transitional group home. She has been in and out of foster care since she was four years old due to her parents' life-long addictions. Her grandparents decided to close in permanent guardianship in 2018 and then placed her back in foster care when Jazmyne started to present with symptoms of a mental health diagnosis. She recently was faced with a huge decision that she faced with bravery and practicality for the life she wants to live. She is currently working on her GED and recently obtained part-time employment at a retail store. She is very hardworking and driven to live a successful life.
Jazmyne is going to the prom at her school! This will be her first school dance ever, and she's super excited! She would love to get her hair and makeup done like a "normal" teenager. This wish will allow her some normalcy in her life and give her memories that will last a lifetime!

"I was watching a show called jury duty, and I went to see the main guy on the shows Instagram. He had this site in his profile the first wish i selected to see what this site is all about was yours. What made it crazy is i grew up in NPR. It was a meant to be moment. I’ve had a lot of amazing things happen to me since i was your age. And you will too.
