Foster NationMareena spent 1 year in foster care. The biggest challenge she faced during this time was staying focused in school. She was taking honors courses, but had to be bussed to another school over an hour away. Waking up at 4am every day to get ready and get to school on time was mentally and physically exhausting. Mareena was determined and graduated with A’s and B’s in all of her classes. Her goal in life is to become an RN. She enjoys photography, crafts, sewing, rollerblading and playing with her children.
Mareena is on a cooking journey! She has always enjoyed cooking since it helps her relax and decompress from the stresses of college. She especially enjoys trying out new recipes, and a dual air fryer would help her be able to cook for herself in a shorter amount of time. This will be the perfect addition to her kitchen!
