A rocking chair to help Peanut go to sleep

Posted May 10, 2023
Peanut's family just moved into a new apartment which has more space than their previous home. Peanut's parents both work full-time but do not have the finances at this time to buy any extra furniture at this time. Peanut loves to snuggle with his parents and they currently have no chairs in the home! A rocking chair would help both Peanut and his twin go to sleep more smoothly in the evenings.

Peanut is 1 year old and lives in ME

Peanut is one half of a set of twins. He has two older siblings all between the ages of 0 to 4 years old. He is the more reserved of the twins and is cautious in his exploration of the world. He has recently begun to toddle around and explore more. Peanut is particularly fond of eating all types of food and snuggling with his caregivers. He responds to both French and English and has started to develop his own verbal communication skills.

"I am beyond grateful for your genorisity in donating this item for this young friend of mine. The family will be so appreciative and Peanut in particular, is a snuggler and will love to spend time rocking with his parents. I cannot express how much donations like this support our families and it empowers them to choose the items they would like (or items case workers know would be meaningful to them) which in the world of child protective services, families and children do not get to make so many decisions independently. It may seem like a small thing to have a brand new item that you want, but it is a huge thing to our families. Again, I am grateful and I wish you well, Abby"
