She lives with her aunt who has provided her a safe and loving home after enduring difficulties with her parents. Reyna has down syndrome and doesn't let that stop her from achieving her dreams! She loves doing hair, listening to music and helping her family with things around the house. She is eager to go to school every day and loves interacting with new people.
Reyna Lopez Nunez has scaled many mountains in her young life. Though she is functioning on a third to fourth grade level, Reyna has worked diligently to graduate from a special high school in CT and is excited to start a vocational program. She looks forward to learning new skills, making friends and becoming more independent. Reyna would love a gift card to Target to get a few essentials as she prepares for the next phase of her life and maybe even a small reward for her hard work in school.
