A huge set of Pokemon cards for Rachel who is celebrating her first birthday in care

Rachel has some hard memories from her birthday last year because it was the day before she was removed from her mother's care. Her birthday marks such a big change in her life, and although she is adjusting well, she still isn't looking forward to that marking a year of foster care. This huge set of Pokemon cards won't take away the hard feelings but it will be a nice treat for her to know she deserves to be celebrated.
Rachel is 11 years old and lives in OH
Rachel has a strength and confidence that has served her well in her life. She has been able to advocate for herself and her sister so that they could be safe and cared for, and tries hard to also advocate for other kids at school who might be bullied or in need of help. She enjoys music and dancing and hopes to be able to take a dance class someday.
