Malaysia's mother passed away due to heart failure, and she was her only caregiver. Her two siblings were separated from her and placed on the East Coast while Malaysia was in California. As a former foster youth, Malaysia has received support services, including case management and scholarship opportunities, while pursuing a degree in Social Work. She is kind, hardworking, mature, and genuine.

Malaysia is currently in her second year at Sacramento State and is has significant student loans. She wishes for comfortable bedding that she truly loves to take with her to school. An Amazon gift card would alleviate some of her expenses for her on-campus boarding.
