Foster Alumni MentorsJessie is a strong, independent woman who has overcome many challenges in her life. Being a single mom has been something she has enjoyed because her daughter is her world. Jessie was in and out of foster care since she was ten and aged without her family's support. Jessie went to school and received her bachelor's degree and can't wait for the day she gets to start her career. She is a unique, outgoing, and loving woman who enjoys church and crocheting. Jessie is passionate about helping others and is always there to lend a helping hand when needed.
Jessie and her daughter have been experiencing homelessness. To make things even harder, Jessie lost her transportation in an automobile accident, making getting to work difficult. Jessie is determined to make her daughter's first high school year wonderful despite their recent hurdles. Having a gift card to get her the school supplies and clothing she desires would be a huge help!
