She has been placed in several different homes, and at one point, she ran away and was listed as a missing child nationwide. Currently, she is living in a girls' home and is approaching the age at which she will age out of the system. Despite her struggles, Amy excels in school and is a talented painter. She plans to attend cosmetology school after graduating from high school in the spring of 2026.
Amy has asked for a gift card so she can buy hygiene products. Her skin is sensitive, and she cannot use the shelter's products. Amy would love to purchase her own shampoo, conditioner, and skin care products.
