The hardest part about having been in foster care was being away from her brothers, which continues to be a challenge, but she hopes to have a consistent relationship with them one day. Katie is a single mom, who works part-time at a doctor's office and attends school to become a medical assistant.
Katie will be a senior in HS come September and is asking for help obtaining her school supplies. Having everything she needs will help her feel more confident and prepared. She's asking for a gift card to Target to shop for items such as notebooks, pens, pencils, binders, and highlighters.
