Joleena is a bright and creative young lady. Though previously away from family, she resides with her mother and three younger siblings. Joleena is a considerate and loving sister. She works hard to lead by example and is learning that taking care of herself is really important- physically and emotionally. Joleena aspires to be a fashion designer. She loves to draw, read, understand, and care for animals.

Joleena's mother has opted to have her homeschooled. With limited resources, Joleena and her family rely on free programs and tools to achieve completion of the required NYS core curriculum. Joleena has requested a laptop as she feels this would drastically increase her learning ability.
