Oscar is amazing. His eye for art can take your breath away. He sees the world differently than most people. Oscar embodies the definition of seeing the world through rose-colored glasses. His greatest passion is sharing the world he sees through pictures. It's nearly impossible to tell that this young man has gone through more pain in his short life than most people will experience in a lifetime. He refuses to let his past define him and instead looks towards what he can do in the future to leave his mark on the world.

Even so, he diligently goes to therapy to compartmentalize the stress and discouraging emotions he feels on a regular basis. Lately, he has really enjoyed relieving his stress and anxieties through boxing at the gym. He enjoys the adrenaline and the stamina he is building through this activity but cannot frequent the gym as often as he'd like to due to his busy work and school schedule. He also does not have a vehicle at the moment, so he must rely on his Transitional Housing consultant and public transportation for rides to and from where he needs to go. Oscar has made it a point to clean up the garage and keep it nice and neat in hopes of curating a small home gym for him to come home to after work and school. This punching bag will help him create a safe space for Oscar to work through his feelings and stressors.
