Beads for Aunna who loves creating jewelry for others

Aunna, 17 years old, NE

Wish submitted by:

NE DHHS - Madison County

Aunna has been in the foster care system for several years and has faced unimaginable losses both before and during her time in care. These experiences have shaped her into the person she is today. Aunna is a resilient, opinionated, and outspoken young woman. If her strengths are channeled appropriately, she has the potential to thrive. Aunna will be turning 18 soon, and since the age of majority in Nebraska is 19, she has one year left to prepare for adulthood. Recently, Aunna has started studying to obtain her learner's permit and is eager to find a job. Although she is struggling in school, she is committed to graduating with her class in May 2027. Aunna has a creative side and enjoys making things, including bralettes and candles. She also loves music and enjoys creating content on TikTok.

Aunna has been making bracelets and selling a few, but mostly her generous heart gives them away. This is a perfect pastime for Aunna to keep her mind calm and provides hours of entertainment. Aunna keeps her beads in divided containers and takes good care of them. She is asking for glass beads to take her jewelry-making to a new level.
