As a former foster youth and current college student, Kay helps mentor other youth in learning how to cook, budget and prepare to successfully navigate college.
Kay is becoming a personal trainer, and the gym where she will be training requires her to pay a three-month rental fee in advance. She can't afford this initial fee as a college student and an up-and-coming trainer. But if this temporary barrier can be overcome, her work as a personal trainer can help her to sustain ongoing gym space rental and contribute to the physical health of both Kay and her clients.
