William is currently riding a 12-inch bike which he makes do with the best he can. His grandmother knew it was too small but really became aware when they were visiting friends and he was riding the friend's 20" bike, and it was the right size for him! She has checked for a bike on clearance but hasn't been able to find one she could afford. William would be so excited to have a bike that is his size, and he could have so much fun riding it!
William is 7 years old and lives in MN
William enjoys being outdoors, riding a bike, and cuddling on the couch for a movie. He is a loving and determined young man who has grown leaps and bounds since going to live with his grandmother for the last few years. Having little to no communication skills, he has struggled to communicate. He has used hand signals, drawn pictures, led his grandmother to something he wanted, and many more unique ways to get his point across.
