Luz's goals include finishing high school, learning English, and going to college to get her nursing degree. Luz enjoys going on walks in the neighborhood and spending time in nature.
Luz would love a new cell phone to keep in contact with her parents in Guatemala. Luz has an old iPhone that no longer charges, and the camera no longer works. Luz is able to talk to her parents on the phone for a few minutes a week but is no longer able to Facetime with them and misses seeing them. A new phone would enable her to make video calls to her parents and talk to them about her day.
