Emanuel has a difficult time communicating with others due to his intellectual disability, but he is able to connect with others through his shared interest in playing video games. Emanuel has always wanted an Xbox, but he has not been able to have one because he was homeless when he was under his mother's care.

Emanuel is a kind and resilient young man. Emanuel is currently in foster care, but he was blessed to have a family friend who was willing to take him into her home. This was the first time that Emanuel had had stability in his life. Emanuel does not let his intellectual disability deter him from striving to fulfill all of his goals. He has big plans for his future.
