Jalayah is a caring, resourceful, independent, and ambitious individual. She enjoys playing basketball and taking walks. She also loves watching movies. She is shy but spunky and advocates well for herself and what she wants. She has a close-knit relationship with her family, especially her siblings. She struggles with anxiety and is very honest and forthcoming about what she feels comfortable with.

Jalayah has been asking for new Crocs for a couple of months. She also is back living with her mother now, and her mother's finances are tight. Receiving something she has asked for will encourage her to advocate for herself and give her something to be excited about after being moved around to many different placements.
