Austin and his sisters were taken into care and separated almost immediately. They have kept in close contact with each other over the years as they were all that each other had. Since aging out of care, Austin is working full time and is going to college for his Associate's Degree. He was able to obtain stable housing earlier this year and has been supporting one of his sisters as well as her young son in his home since she aged out of care also. Austin hopes to get married and have a family one day, but says that he wants to have everything in place for them before he has children. Due to instability as a child, stability and the ability to provide for his family are of the utmost importance to him.

Austin has recently found an apartment that will allow him to rent with no credit history, so he put all the money he had toward the deposit so he could be safely housed and help his sister and her son have a safe place to stay until she finds housing. He has a car payment due and needs his car to get to and from his construction job. This payment will prevent him from losing his transportation, employment, and ultimately his newly procured stable housing.
