She's been in and out of foster care most of her life but wakes up every day and strives to be the best that she can be. She faces more difficult obstacles than most. Despite all of this, she has a positive attitude and wants to make the best of her situation. Her work ethic is admirable, and she will soon have her associate's degree. After that, she'll work towards her Bachelor's degree and continue to make progress toward her goals. It is undeniable that she's going to change the world and create a positive impact on those who surround her.
Amelia has a clear wish for Christmas this year - new shoes, preferably Converse. When asked what she would normally buy for herself, she mentioned that all she desires is footwear that is stylish and comfortable. Specifically, the hippest Chuck Taylor's. She would be overjoyed to receive them as a gift.
