Janet is a sweet, creative, and caring individual. She is pursuing a major in English and Creative Writing at UC Irvine. Some of her favorite books include The Giver and The Last Black Unicorn. With her captivating personality and soothing voice, she can effortlessly draw you into her world. Janet is an exceptional student who is enjoying her independence while living on campus. Though some days are more challenging than others, she works diligently to push through those obstacles. She looks forward to building a career that allows her to provide services to her community. Janet entered foster care after the passing of her father.

Janet is not working at this time and has heavy student loans. Unfortunately, she cannot stay in the dorms during the Thanksgiving holiday and would love to fly home to see family. She would be forever grateful to be able to spend the holiday with her loved ones this year. She is requesting help with this wish, as she doesn't have the means to pay for a flight at this time. Help Janet have an amazing Thanksgiving and get some hugs from her family!
