PivotalMalaysia's mother passed away due to heart failure, and she was her only caregiver. Her two siblings were separated from her and placed on the East Coast while Malaysia was in California. As a former foster youth, Malaysia has received support services, including case management and scholarship opportunities, while pursuing a degree in Social Work. She is kind, hardworking, mature, and genuine.
After one whole school year, Malaysia is excited to finally see her family again for the Thanksgiving holiday. She has two handbags to stuff her clothes into, but needs a a suitcase with wheels. This wish will allow Malaysia to pick out a suitcase of her choice, and help her feel comfortable while traveling on her own.
