NJ DCFS - Ocean CountyIssiah is a resilient, determined adolescent. He has a history of being physically abused which resulted into behavioral and mental health issues. Today, Issiah is healthy and thriving. He attends a 2-year program at vocational school for welding. He has a full-time job. Issiah is mature, cordial, and has a positive outlook on future.
Issiah is asking for a new bike so that he can get a part time job. The bike that he did have, he let another youth in the resource home use and the bike got damaged in a car accident. He recently passed the written portion of his driver’s test and obtained his driver’s permit. Working again will help him to save for a car. He recognizes a part time job will also help to keep him responsible and out of trouble.
