Despite a hard year with her health, she has accomplished many wonderful things that bring her joy and meaning! Her dream in life is to impact the system in a positive way by elevating newer research around trauma-informed care.
Kristen was diagnosed with two chronic illnesses this year and has trouble regulating her body temperature. She has found that heat helps to reduce pain and allows her to be more active. She is making a wish for a heated mattress pad that can cover her bed and allow her to be comfortable this winter!
