Katie is a loving and caring young lady who recently aged out of foster care and got her first apartment. The hardest part about having been in foster care was being away from her brothers, which continues to be a challenge, but she hopes to have a consistent relationship with them one day. Katie is a single mom, who works part-time at a doctor's office and attends school to become a medical assistant.

Katie's holiday wish is to be able to go shopping at Target for things such as art supplies for the coping skills she has learned to use when she's not feeling her best. She would be so happy to have the opportunity to pick out some new supplies.
