NJ DCFS - Hudson CountyKatie is a loving and caring young lady who recently aged out of foster care and just got her first apartment. The hardest part about having been in foster care was being away from her brother, which continues to be a challenge, but she hopes to have a consistent relationship with them one day. Katie is a cosmetology student and will be graduating with her esthetician license in February 2025. During that time, she will also have her first baby. She has been working at Five Below since the summer of 2023 but is currently on leave due to her pregnancy.
Katie's holiday wish is to be able to go shopping at Target for things such as art supplies for the coping skills she has learned to use when she's not feeling her best. She would be so happy to have the opportunity to pick out some new supplies.
