Karson has recently aged out of foster care. He has had a lot of challenges, and this gift card would help Karson have a chance to finally buy his own clothing and feel special. This gift card is a way for him to get to be a “typical teenager” who looks forward to a fun new addition to their wardrobe on Christmas morning. Most, if not all, of his clothes are second-hand currently, and this gift card would improve his self-image when it comes to his clothing.
Karson is 19 years old and lives in NC
Karson was in care for about two years before aging out. He’s a transgender individual who has been rejected by his extended family due to his identity. He is currently still in high school; he will be graduating this spring. He’s an incredibly bright young adult who had to take on too much responsibility, and he’s not had the ability to be a kid.
