She's an athlete, played soccer in her home country, and won many championships. She has been struggling academically but playing soccer is her strength and brings her much joy. Despite her recent arrival and adjustment to her current placement, she maintains an incredibly positive outlook on life!
Yesenia would love a new pair of soccer cleats so she can continue playing soccer more confidently. She played soccer with her church group this winter, and the team earned first place. Yesenia now hopes to join a team and play on a regular basis. Playing soccer uplifts her spirit and reminds her of her culture. These cute pink cleats will help her feel more confident in her ability!
