Lamont is a gentle and kind-hearted young boy who has faced significant changes in his life, including time in foster care and a recent reunion with his family. Unfortunately, when his family lost their home, he had to transition to living with his father, which has been challenging for him. Shy by nature, Lamont takes time to feel comfortable around others, but once he does, his creativity shines through in his love for music and drawing. He often uses fidget items to help him stay calm during turbulent times.

Lamont likes to tinker with things and work with his hands. He enjoys finding out how things work, and he's really interested in STEM topics. However, he's struggling a bit with problem-solving. It would be amazing to grant this wish to get a reading set incorporating STEM. This way, he can have fun while learning and hopefully feel encouraged to participate in reading activities at school. The set includes one of his favorite read aloud books. He will be able to play for hours with this STEM kit.
