She was placed with her aunt shortly after being in an unhealthy environment and has been with her ever since. Because of her trauma her behavior and mood swings vary from day to day.
LaMaiya will be having a celebration at school for Valentine's Day. While shopping, she saw some cool glasses. She said she would like to give these to her friends. Granting this wish will allow her to give these adorable heart-shaped shades to her friends as a gift. She says her friends are super cool and she can't wait to celebrate Valentine's Day with them at school.
