Belinda is an extraordinary young woman who has overcome many obstacles in her short life. She is currently living in a foster home with two younger children who she adores. Belinda was born in the US but spent most of her life in another country. She one day hopes to be reunited with her family but for now, she is learning how to make herself a priority by focusing on herself and her future goals. She has excelled at school, getting A's and B's, and participated in school sports, and extracurricular activities all while maintaining above-average grades. And to top all that off, English isn't her first language. Belinda is very kind, well-mannered, and soft-spoken, and enjoys helping around the house.

Belinda has a lot of special items she holds near and dear to her heart. She has been putting her necklaces, rings, pictures, and trinkets on her dresser or nightstand but has been finding them moved by the other children in the home. She has requested a wooden white standing mirrored jewelry box so she could securely store her precious belongings, by locking the box to ensure everything inside isn't touched. Belinda doesn't get to see her biological family, so these items she holds dear to her heart are the only items she has besides her memories and the occasional long-distance phone calls. She has chose this particular item because it has a full-length mirror, so she can see her whole outfit, as well as use the lighted mirror on the inside to apply her makeup. She can also store some of her handbags or baskets on the backside, to keep items off the floor and make her room less cluttered.
