A special Build-a-Bear so Addyson can hear her mom's voice whenever she needs it most

Posted Mar 13, 2024
Addyson and her sisters have had a difficult time being separated from their mom and dad while in foster care. They currently visit together for two hours every week, but the days in between are hard to get through, and Addyson longs to be able to hug her mom and hear her voice more often. Addyson is requesting a gift card to Build-a-Bear so she can go to the store on a visit with her mom, record her voice, and keep it in her new stuffed animal. She'll be able to hear her mom say, "I love you," and give her stuffed animal a big squeeze any time she misses her.

Addyson is 3 years old and lives in GA

Addyson is the youngest of five sisters and is currently living in a foster home with two of them. Addyson is just the cutest, with her brown eyes and strawberry-blonde curls. She's also incredibly smart and is hitting all sorts of milestones way ahead of schedule. Addyson's got a spunky and sassy personality that always keeps her family laughing - she's always got a hilarious comment up her sleeve! She loves playing with baby dolls and exploring outside.
