Lunch at McDonald's for Kris and his new foster brother

Posted Mar 14, 2024
Kris had to move homes suddenly and is still getting used to his new surroundings. Having a new foster brother his age has helped. They like spending time together and both love McDonald's. Kris would love to surprise his new brother with burgers, fries, and shakes!

Kris is 13 years old and lives in ME

Kris is an adventurous and intelligent young boy. He loves to be outside swimming in the summer and building snowmen in the winter. He has been living in foster care for 5 years and has had a difficult time being separated from his mother and siblings. He uses his imagination to deal with some of the grief and loss he feels. Games like Minecraft help him socialize with other kiddos and use his imagination to solve puzzles and create new worlds. He also loves to learn. If given the chance and proper support at school, he shines. He also has a very giving heart. While he can have trouble controlling his anger at times, he is quick to acknowledge what he did wrong and try to make amends. Kris is a young boy who needs patience, understanding, and above anything else- to know that he matters in this world and is loved!

"It's the simple things a lot of the time. I should know. Something like Mcdonalds meant a ton when I was younger. Here's hoping the ice cream machine works! Sincerely, Someone who absolutely wants a burger too. Eat one for me!"
