Mustafa is probably the most positive child you will ever meet, especially given his circumstances. Mustafa was living with a relative and was severely physically abused. In his home, he was not allowed to have toys, video games, or a computer. He was then placed with his uncle and has been thriving ever since. He is doing well in school and participates in outside activities. He likes video games, playing on the computer, football, and basketball. Mustafa is truly just a grateful child. Since being in relative resource care, he has gained friends, patience, determination, and creativity playing games.

Mustafa has a laptop however it is not a gaming computer. He cannot create graphics, play his games, or even download certain applications to pursue his interests. Mustafa came from a severely abusive situation and was denied even the most basic of things. For quite some time Mustafa did not have any interests other than not doing anything to make his caregivers angry. When going to his Uncle's home he discovered his love for video games. He started trying to dabble in building different worlds through the video games, as well as doing minor graphics on his computer. Unfortunately he was unable to get anywhere with it due to the hard drive and processor on his laptop were not built for such applications. He wants to pursue these interests as he spent such a long time not having any. He is now in a supportive environment where he can express himself however due to lack of equipment he is extremely limited. This will be Mustafa’s personal computer which will allow him to express himself as well as complete school work and projects. It was rare that Mustafa had anything that was solely his and he has really flourished in this environment. It would be amazing to see what he could do with the rights tools. He wants to “build worlds” but it can only be done through a pc. Mustafa wants to become a video game developer and get involved in graphic design when he gets older.
