At school, April especially enjoys math and science and loves discovering how things work. When she's not learning or playing indoors, she enjoys spending time outside exploring and staying active. April's family has worked hard to overcome significant housing instability, including a period of living in a hotel while her mother worked toward securing permanent housing. Through it all, April has remained resilient and continues to find joy in learning, family time, and the simple moments of childhood. She looks forward to the opportunities each new school year brings and continues to thrive with the love and support of her family.
