Seth embodies the very definition of courage. Entering the foster system at just 14 years old, he faced a tumultuous journey, bouncing from group home to group home. Often running away from placements due to poor treatment, he experienced life as a homeless teen, desperately seeking a better existence. In his pain, he turned to drugs as a coping mechanism, attempting to escape the significant trauma of his childhood. However, everything began to change when he was placed with a foster family for the first time. This supportive environment allowed him to slowly heal, recover from his addiction, and learn to trust others. He also took the opportunity to catch up on years of missed education. Remarkably, Seth graduated from high school a year early, and now he enjoys a safe and stable home where he is loved dearly. As he transitions into adulthood, Seth is thriving beautifully, overcoming the challenges he's faced throughout his life.

Seth recently completed rehab to overcome extensive trauma and is doing very well. He is living in a sober halfway house and learning important skills to help him thrive in adulthood. Seth has requested a Chromebook to help him on his job hunt and for technical school, which he was recently accepted to and plans to attend this fall. A Chromebook will give him a leg up in his personal and career development and encourage independence as he steps out on his own for the first time.
