She has been connecting with her peers who also reside in the home and has been practicing independent living skills by helping keep the home clean and organized. Angie immigrated from Mexico and has been working diligently to obtain her high school diploma to create a better life for herself. Angie exemplifies what hard work and dedication can do in the face of much adversity and trauma. She has been working hard to gain employment, finish school, and save money to live a stable life as an adult.
