Laptop bundle for Kamariyah to prepare for college
Kamariyah, 19 years old
Wish submitted by:
San Diego Youth ServicesKamariyah is an ambitious young woman who dedicates her life to school, sports, and volunteering at recreational centers. She has big dreams and the motivation and determination to achieve them. After turning 18, Kamariyah has become more open to seeking assistance from foster care programs, knowing that most of these programs will end when she turns 21.
Kamariyah is finishing high school this year and is getting ready to go to college. She is very busy with sports as she will be applying for financial assistance via a sports scholarship and playing during her time there. She is currently unable to get herself a laptop since she has been saving her paychecks from her job at a recreation center to buy a phone. Kamariyah would greatly benefit from having a laptop to ease the completion of her enrollment process into college, assist her with summer job applications, and, of course, be ready to keep up with her college classes once the fall term starts. This wish will mean a lot to her as it would be her very first laptop as well. She can't wait to show the world what she can do!
San Diego Youth Services requests this wish for Kamariyah.

"THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH!!! Kamariyah has been over the moon with her new laptop. She is more than happy with it and wanted to thank the program and the donors for this opportunity. So far it has been of great help in getting used to the applications and websites used for College registration and for working on her documents without needing to go to school to use their computers. Again, THANK YOU!!!!"
