She obtained her own housing after living many years in a group home. She would like to complete her schooling to obtain a degree in medical coding and billing.
Valerie recently gave birth to her daughter at thirty-four weeks. After spending a few weeks at NICU, her baby is finally home. Valerie is adjusting to her new life as a mommy without any family support. Being a new mom, she's worried about navigating NYC public transit system. She wishes for a baby carrier so she can safely get around NYC with her precious baby to many upcoming important doctor's appointments.
