Tylisha has been in the foster care system through much of her upbringing, along with her siblings. While participating in the extended foster care program, Tylisha became a mother. She is now caring for an infant son with the hopes of giving him a more stable childhood than she and her siblings had. She is a devoted mother and cares for her son well, and she would be extremely grateful to see this wish for a crib granted. Her son has outgrown his bassinet, and she does not have the funds to purchase a crib for him. She would be so grateful to anyone who would help her get what her son needs!
Tylisha is 20 years old and lives in CA
In March 2021, Tylisha was removed from her guardian's care, and her mother continued to struggle with substance abuse. Shortly after, Tylisha entered the extended foster care program. She has been doing well as a mom to her beautiful son. She is adamant that she doesn't want to be the kind of mother her mom was to her. She has high hopes for her future and that of her son. She is planning to return to school in the near future, which will lead to better employment opportunities than her current minimum wage position. Tylisha plans to continue to work while furthering her education.
