Deborah is a resilient and purpose-driven individual who has been pursuing a degree in political science with a minor in social science, with aspirations of becoming an immigration lawyer to advocate for and empower underserved communities. A soon-to-be mother, she embraces this new chapter with strength and hope, drawing inspiration from her Christian faith and the support of her church, family, and close friends. Her love for country and worship music, along with her active involvement in her community, reflects her joyful spirit and deep commitment to helping others. Rooted in compassion and guided by her values, Deborah will move forward with her higher education when she's able since she'd like to still pursue immigration law and help those in need, ready to make a meaningful impact in the world.

Deborah currently lives in transitional housing and is working towards completing her AA degree so she can transfer to a 4-year college and work towards becoming a lawyer. To achieve her goal, she's taking online classes as she doesn't have her own transportation. The commute to and from campus can take over 2.5 hours, which can be quite tiring. Deborah would love to have a color printer and scanner that can print on both sides so that she is able to print a lot of materials for her English classes. Unfortunately, she's unable to visit the campus to use the equipment and computer labs for her coursework. Having the necessary tools at home will enable Deborah to feel more confident and prepared, which will help her excel in her studies. Let's support Deborah on her journey towards achieving her dreams!
